The Speedy Graffiti collection is exquisite and still is extremely popular regardless that it was first released in 2001 and 2009. The first collaboration with Louis Vuitton in 2001 was a great success leading to a tribute in 2009 after the passing away of Stephen Sprouse in 2004.
There are vast differences between the 2001 and 2009 bag prints. In 2001, the collection released featured large graffiti prints in silver, khaki and beige. In 2009, smaller graffiti prints were released in neo orange, fushia and vert (green) . In 2009, Jacobs also used two iconic sprouse motifs . The Graffiti and the Rose.
