A beautiful front-facing photo can leave a lot unanswered. Before buying a preloved Louis Vuitton bag online, ask for the pictures that help show its condition—not simply more pictures of the same angle.

Start with the whole bag
Request the front, back, both sides, base and interior in ordinary daylight. Ask for a photo of the bag standing naturally, without stuffing that hides its shape. A short video showing the same item can help connect the different views.
Get close to the wear
Ask for clear pictures of all four corners, the handle undersides, strap attachments, zipper and pocket lining. If something looks dark or uneven, request a closer view rather than guessing. Ask whether marks are stains, surface wear, repairs or colour changes.
Confirm what comes with it
Have the seller photograph the strap, pouch, lock, keys and dust bag together with the handbag if those are included. Accessories shown elsewhere in a listing may be styling props. Ask for a written list of exactly what will arrive.
Send a simple request
Try: “Could you send daylight photos of the corners, handle undersides, inside pockets and strap attachments, plus a list of included accessories? Please show any repairs or marks too.” Photographs support condition checks; they do not provide a complete authentication result. If the seller refuses reasonable questions, pause the purchase.
