Louis Vuitton enlisted contemporary Japanese artist Takashi Murakami on a collection which launched some of the most iconic It Bags of the early 00s. These Multicolore Monogram collections were forever immortalised in everyone’s minds thanks to appearing on the arms of celebrities like Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan in the cult movie Mean Girls – and the black iterations were just as popular. A part of Murakami’s collections is this coveted black Courtney multi colored speedy bag. Item Condition: Pre-loved and heavily used. There is a lot of fading, the date code is faded but the Louis Vuitton name stamp is still on the bag. This is a vintage bag and has been heavily used with scuffs and marks. Still a gorgeous item.
This bag is in pre-owned condition with signs of age and wear. The monogram patterned exterior is in very good, very clean condition with minimal signs of age or wear. The leather has a nice honey color and shows typical signs of aging and gentle wear including some darkening, slight variations in color, Small water spots, wrinkles, marks and light scuffs. The shoulder strap feels strong and sturdy. The gold-tone studs, loops and clasps all have very good gold color and a very nice shine. Both zippers are running nice and smoothly. The gold finish on the zipper pull tabs looks good, though there is some expected light fading to the gold color and light scratches from use. The interior lining is has signs of wear condition with only minor signs of aging or wear. Price reflects condition of this handbag. |
